NOBEL PEACE PRIZE.

Last thursday has been decided that the Nobel Peace Prize is to be awarded to Barack Obama in a ceremony which is due to take place on 10th of December in Oslo.The reasons given for the Committee have been betwen others , his efforts to improve the internacional diplomacy , his important work to get a world free of nuclear arms and also his determination to get the peace in the Middle East.The stunning decision has been received by surprised and skepticism for many people who ,althoug admire his efforts ,at the same time ,they think that this prize arrives too soon .
On the other hand , there are many people who have showed their happiness for the committee´s decision as they belive that the president Obama ,althoug took the office only eight months ago, is an esceptional referent for the future and also because they want to demostrate their support towards him-
Personally , i think he shouldn´t have got this honour because although is true that he is trying to improve many things such as the relations betwen peoples and the international diplomacy in general , this prize have been always awarded to people or organitations which have had a long career in search of a better world and not just for their good intentions .

Brighton

Brighton

Today i dont have a really inspired day so after thinking what i can write about i´ve decided to talk about what are my impressions about Brighton and also how were my first days here.I know that isnt an really insteresting issue but i promise next day i´ll chose a better one.
I remember when i came here for the first time at the end of last summer that the first thing i did was to go to school to ask for the key of the flat and also to ask for the address .The person who i meet first was Mary and althouh now i smile when i think about it, i remembered being really scared cos i didnt undertand anything at all ,so the only thing thaT i did was smiled all time.Afterwards i went to the flat which is situated in the second avenue and i remember that the alley you have to go through to get the flat was complety covered of rubish so i didnt know if i wanted to cry or run away.Finally i meet my lovely flatmates who were from everywhere althoug above all germany.To be honest , my impression of the flat was really bad not only because everything was broken down , but the flat was a complety a mess.As an example, i can tell that the balcony which we had in the dining room was such full of cans, , beers , cigarettes and so on ,that it was impossible to see the floor!!!!. Apart from the dirtiness, i can tell that i've got great memorises about that place and the people i lived with.We all got on really well and we did many massive parties so i love that flat!!
Anyway , about Brighton the only that i cant tell about is good things.I think it,s a cosy , cosmopolitan and open-minded place where every day something is on ,.Having said that, sometimes you can fell that when you are here for long time everything is almost the same.

Charity

What i enjoy most working in the Charity shop is being on the till speaking whith people ,not only because is the best way of learning english but i feel really useful helping people making their life a bit easier.Generally i go there twice or third per week.Usually i spend the first couple of hours having a look if all the staff that we´ve got in the back is in good conditions because otherwise we have to throw it away .Afterwards i spent the rest of my shift on the till with my manager chatting about many things such as history, England....
Our Charity raises funds to support people who live with AIDS and also ,they own a house in Brighton where this people go there to receive their treatment and also phsycological support.In the shop you can find wherever you want since music and books till clothes, china ...
Having said this if you wanna give us a hand let me know..

I,ve got a doubt;: is possible to say contributing(to contribute)

Yesterday, it was for me a really exhausting day.In the morning i came to the shool where we were doing a bit grammar and also we were playing a game.Afterwards i went to work to the charity from 1 till 6 .When i left the shop i went with my manager to have a beer but you know when you star with one.....
At 8.30 i got home as i had a spanish lesson with a english guy who want to go to Spain next year and to be honest im really happy with his improvment because i remember when we started one month ago that he didint know a word and now his level is not so bat, also because i think he's a determinate and hard-working person.By the time the lesson had finished my flatmates were drinking in our tiny garden so i decided to join them for a while.At one i was quite tired and i had to start with my homework so i left them as i thought don't put off for tomorrow , what you could do today....
